How to pair CM2 remotes to the Power-Pole Anchor HPU
ProductsPower-Pole currently offers three controllers for CM2 Systems: a Dash Switch, a Key Fob and Foot Switches.
New controllers must be paired to a Power-Pole hydraulic pump unit or HPU for short for them to work. For dual Power-Pole Anchors, controllers must be individually paired to each HPU. All controllers come ready to be paired right out of the box.
To begin pairing, locate the HPU you want to pair to and press and hold the orange pairing button for three seconds. The LED will turn solid green and the HPU will beep.
Next, press either the up or down button on the controller you are pairing for one second. When paired, the HPU will beep, and the LED will turn off and then begin to flash steadily.
If you have foot switches, repeat the process for the other switch.
If you have dual Power-Poles, repeat the process with the other HPU.
To test your connection either press and hold the down button to deploy the anchor or double tap for auto-deployment.
The Dash Switch has two additional orange buttons. The top button is the speed control button and can be used to toggle through three speed settings: slow, medium, and fast.
The LEDs will flash at a speed corresponding to the speed setting. All Power-Pole Anchors come pre-programmed to a maximum speed setting of 70%. This can be changed in the app.
The other button with two arrows is the directional control button. Tap the directional control button to toggle through port, starboard or simultaneous control. The left light will flash to indicate starboard control, the right for port and both for simultaneous. The Dash Switch is the only controller that can operate dual Power-Pole Anchors separately.
