The Power-Pole Pro Redfish Tour started with the local community of competitive Redfish anglers who felt the need for a grassroots tournament. When sharing how he’d managed to achieve success with this tournament, the director of the Power-Pole® Pro Redfish Tour Kent Hickman said, “…awesome sponsors and the success of the go-live series allowed for the trail to expand out of Florida and throughout the South.” Power-Pole’s roots lie in shallow water fishing, and Redfish tournaments are simply a part of what has made us into the company we are today.
Redfish tournaments go back generations and are a part of the fabric of our local angling community. The Power-Pole Pro Redfish Tour is more than a redfish tour, “it gives both sponsors and anglers an opportunity to promote their brands and themselves on a regional stage.” Said Kent Hickman.
