REDCREST 2026: 35 Anglers. $300,000. ONE Winner.
Events . Featured Stories . News & Press Releases . UncategorizedThere’s no hiding at REDCREST. No coasting, no “good enough,” and no easy days. Just 35 of the most elite anglers in the world, a $300,000 payday on the line, and three days at Table Rock Lake where every decision matters. This isn’t a tournament you survive—it’s one you either show up for or get exposed.

What Makes REDCREST Unique
REDCREST isn’t built like the rest. A smaller field means tighter competition, and every angler in this lineup has already proven they belong. There’s no buffer and no soft spots in the standings—every cast is against someone capable of winning. It’s not about beating the field. It’s about beating this field.

A 35-Angler Field Changes Everything
This isn’t a massive bracket where you can disappear for a day and recover later. It’s 35 of the best in the world, all chasing the same $300,000 finish. And for the first time, they’re doing it at Table Rock Lake—a fishery with a deep tournament history, but one that’s never hosted a championship of this level until now.
New water at this stage means no recycled playbooks and no history to lean on when things get tight. Just decisions—and consequences.
Three Days to Get It Right
The format doesn’t leave room for recovery. Three days—that’s it. You don’t get a second chance to fix a bad decision or recover from a missed window. You figure it out, execute, and separate—or you’re done.
That’s where pressure starts doing its job. It exposes hesitation, punishes inefficiency, and rewards the anglers who stay clean, decisive, and locked in from start to finish.

Why Table Rock Is Such a Challenge
Table Rock isn’t just another stop—it’s one of the most dynamic fisheries in the country. With largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass all in play, plus three major river arms and endless structure, it forces anglers to make constant adjustments.
It’s the kind of place where you can fish your strengths—or get completely out of your comfort zone. And with that much variability, the winning pattern isn’t obvious. It has to be built, adjusted, and executed in real time. That’s what makes it dangerous.
Where Small Details Start to Matter
When the margins get tight, small advantages stop being small. Boat positioning, control, efficiency between casts, and the ability to stay locked in without breaking rhythm all start to separate anglers.
You won’t see it in the standings—but you’ll see it in how things get done. Clean movements. No wasted time. No second-guessing. That’s where Power-Pole shows up. Power-Pole’s collection of premium marine products is built for exactly these moments—when the pressure is high, the field is stacked, and every decision actually matters.

The Momentum Heading Into REDCREST
REDCREST doesn’t happen in a vacuum. The road here matters—and this season has already delivered some serious performances.
Drew Gill set the tone early with a statement win in Stage 1 on Lake Guntersville. Takahiro Omori followed it up in Stage 2 at Lake Hartwell, proving experience still plays at the highest level. Zack Birge put together one of the most dominant showings of the season in Stage 3 on Lake Whitney and Lake Waco, and Jacob Wheeler most recently reminded everyone why he’s always in the conversation with a win at Stage 4 on O.H. Ivie and Lake Brownwood.

That momentum carries straight into REDCREST 2026.
Through four events, Wheeler leads the Angler of the Year race with 299 points, with Birge close behind at 296. Gill sits in third with 282, giving this field a clear group of front-runners—but not by much.
And that’s the thing about REDCREST. Hot streaks help, but they don’t guarantee anything. This is where it all gets tested.
If You’re Heading to REDCREST
REDCREST 2026 takes over Table Rock Lake April 17–19, with a full Outdoor Sports Expo happening alongside the event at Bass Pro Shops headquarters in Springfield.
We’ll be there all week—talking with anglers, showing what’s new, and connecting with everyone who lives for this level of competition. You can find us at Booth #428 at the REDCREST Outdoor Sports Expo.
If you’re there, come find us. If you’re watching, pay attention. This one doesn’t just crown a winner—it shows who can perform when it actually matters.
